He was born in Damascus and educated in its schools. He started working in the profession of dyes and paints in 1960 with “Sheikh Al-Kar”. He loved the profession and his passion was the great motivation for research and exploration of the secrets of this industry. In 1972, he was a co-owner and general manager of a small factory in Damascus at that time, and he continued to research and develop work in his small factory by providing it with modern machines, expanding its product range, and improving product specifications.

In 1995, he opened a modern factory to cover the increasing demand for the company's products of various paints, dyes, and asphalt insulation materials. He was elected several times as president of the Association of Craftsmen for the Paint Industry, and he held this position until his death. He provided advice and support to his family members until they became prominent businessmen, industrialists, and merchants in the Arab world.
